By Car

Berwick-upon-Tweed can be accessed by car from the north or south on the A1, or from the west on the A6105 and the A698.

Parking

Free parking is available on the Quay Side in front of the house. To find the car park drive passed the distinctive Town Hall which is located on the main shopping street, Marygate. Turn right onto Hide Hill as soon as you pass the Town Hall. Drive right to the bottom of the hill and go through the arch at the bottom. As you go through the arch, turn right and park near the little harbour or wherever is available.

When you have parked, to get to the B&B avoiding steps, walk along the Quayside to the Old Bridge using the footpath.  When you reach the Old Bridge, turn immediately right to access Quay Walls. Walk along Quay Walls until you reach us at No. 8, we have two distinctive pink front doors.

If you are comfortable with steps, walk towards the Old Bridge, walk through the first vennel/alley on the right and climb the steps onto the Quay Walls. The house is on the left at the top of the steps.

If you have heavy luggage then we suggest that you leave it in the car, check in at the B&B and we will provide assistance.
